Shippers, brokers, and carriers operating in Indiana, Iowa, Tennessee, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Kentucky, and Alabama must comply with new English proficiency enforcement standards — or face out-of-service violations and fines.
The only pre-certification English proficiency assessment built specifically for commercial truck drivers — aligned with 49 CFR § 391.11(b)(2). Drivers complete a 5-section, 100-point test covering listening, reading, traffic signs, speaking, and writing. Passing drivers receive an official digital certificate of compliance.
